Miniature Horse Adoption

Every year thousands of abused or unwanted miniature ponies are sent to slaughter and you can often adopt a miniature horse for just a few dollars.  When the prices for miniature horses drops to their "meat" value, you can find many wonderful pet-quality miniature horses for under $200.

  • United Kingdom - This yearly sale at Dartmoor National Park offers beautiful miniature ponies for less than £20.

  • United States Auctions - Every year auctions offer many AMHA registered miniature horses for less than $200.

  • Miniature Horse Rescue - There are charities that rescue and place miniature horses for adoption to good homes.

Adopt a miniature horse Today!

We support support miniature horse adoption organizations who strive to rescue miniature horses from slaughter and offers them for adoption. Here are some places to look to adopt a mini horse:

  • Save The Horses - A Charity with a great list of horse rescue organizations.

  • Auctions - Every year the slaughter houses destroy neglected or abused mini horses.  This list can help you find an auction in your area.

Warning:  Beware of any miniature horse rescue charities that do not offer their rescued miniature horses for adoption.  Some miniature horse rescues may acquire neglected miniature horses and then fail to offer the miniature horses for adoption.
